Emergency Management


The main functions of the Emergency Management Agency are to provide emergency planning, mitigation, and resources for larger emergencies and disasters. It also serves as a liaison between municipal Emergency Management Offices and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), which can provide state and federal resources.

The Warren County Emergency Management Agency is a division of the Warren County Department of Public Safety. Its main functions are to provide emergency planning, mitigation, and resources for larger emergencies and disasters. It also serves as a liaison between municipal Emergency Management Offices and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), which can provide state and federal resources (through the Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA). The county's DPS offices are actually located in Brokenstraw Township in the Rouse Estate Complex.
